Hello, my name is Natatia.
I have been watching animals for coming up on a decade. Though most of my clients are dogs and cats, I will gladly watch rodents, plants, and reptiles also!
As an animal lover, with three cats of my own, I vow to always give your babies the love and attention they deserve. Pet sitting is a full time career (and one that I cherish), which gives me plenty of time to spend on adventures or playing of fetch with puppers, hide-and-seek with the cats, giving cuddles to all, and, of course, tending to any need your loved ones may have, while missing you.
I strive for flexibility with clients needs. If you have any questions or special requests, please feel free to ask.
A meet-and-greet is required before I will work with any animal. It is very important that both you and your animals are comfortable with the caregiver you decide on, while you are away. This also ensures that we can discuss any extra details to keep you and your animals happy and safe in your absence.
Additional information: I am a full time pet nanny, so when I am house sitting, I also have walks and drop-ins to run during the day. The current overnight booking works as “home base” and all other runs are made in a similar fashion, to what a part-time schedule would look like, at other jobs. The same goes for any daily life functions!
I do everything in my power to keep your babies as comfortable as possible, while you are away, and strive to maintain their routine to the best of my ability.
Disclaimer: If you have any landscape/maid services, please inform me so that I may prepare accordingly. I do not let any of the animals I work with cross paths with unfamiliar animals, or humans, while they are in my care, to prevent any surprises.

Scheduling
My schedule fluctuates rather constantly, depending on the bookings for that week. Day-to-day scheduling revolves around the pets I am caring for and carpooling with loved ones. For this reason I do not schedule exact times for drop-in’s, but rather ask for a general window that will work best for my arrival.
A Typical Day
Your animals and I will enjoy play time and plenty of affection. We will enjoy curling up with a movie or some classical tunes when they are tired, and play with their favorite toys when they are riled up and ready for action. I have a tendency to like to sing on the job, so a duet is not out of the question. Oh, the possibilities!
Safety, Trust, and Environment
At Familiar Pet Care I strive to accommodate the needs of my clients. Getting to know each familiar, and understanding better what I can do for them, may take time, but I find joy in learning my clients’ quirks and building trust between us.
A quick note: For cats especially, I am very adamant about letting them come to me when they are ready. Sometimes clients take to me very quickly, but more often than not it is a prolonged process to win over their affection and trust. Building that may take a while, and that is okay!
